2013 Pinot Noir (Husch)
Husch, PInot Noir, Anderson Valley, CA 2013100% Pinot Noir STRAWBERRY & CHERRY, DRY LEAVES, MULLED SPICE The relatively cool summers in this part of Napa (close to Carneros) sometimes delays harvest into the first weeks of October, resulting in evenly ripe, spectacularly mature red with lovely balanced flavors and acid. Friendly and fruit-driven with a slightly autumnal feel, this Pinot is perhaps best enjoyed while listening to “Autumn Sweater” by Yo La Tengo. Serving Suggestions: Grilled portabella burgers. BLTs with the summer’s final tomatoes. Butternut squash & shiitakes.
