2011 Cadillac (Peybrun, Chateau)

Chateau Peybrun, Cadillac, Bordeaux, France 2011

{sustainable} 80% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muscadelle

MOUTHWATERING PEACH & APRICOT, ORANGE MARMALADE, SWEET SPICES

Chateau Peybrun, located in Cadillac on Bordeaux's Left Bank, has been making very high quality sweet and red wines for centuries. Botrytis-affected Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle grapes are carefully hand harvested from vines planted on steep slopes of chalky clay. The resulting liquid gold is vinified and aged in thermo-regulated concrete tanks to preserve freshness. This wine is pure luxury! The satisfying sweetness, reminiscent of golden raisins, is balanced by tongue-tingling acidity and a silky body.

Serving Suggestion: Baklava drizzled w/ extra honey. Pistachio & apricot Rugelach.
