Previously reputed to be of Greek origin, these ancient and exotically perfumed varietals can actually be traced back to the very hillsides upon which they are still grown today. Brown dried apricot, quince, and a teasingly delectable firm texture combine with a faint barrique-fermented smokiness to form a refreshingly sophisticated white of fragrant potency and mystery.
